Most practices split this across two or three visits. Here it's done in one, so nothing waits.

Digital x-rays
A full series of low-radiation digital x-rays, viewable on-screen within seconds. They reveal decay, bone level, and anything hidden between the teeth or under existing work.

Intraoral clinical photos
Close-up photographs of every quadrant, so we can review findings together and track changes over time. You see what we see.

Comprehensive exam
Dr. Paul examines each tooth, existing restorations, occlusion, and soft tissues. Nothing is glanced at. Every finding is documented and discussed.

Head-and-neck screening
A visual and palpation exam of the glands, tongue, cheeks, palate, and lymph nodes. It's part of the routine here, not an add-on.

VELscope® oral cancer screening (optional)
A painless two-to-three-minute exam under specialized blue light that helps reveal tissue changes not visible to the naked eye.

Periodontal probing
Measurements of gum pocket depth at each tooth, so we know exactly where your gums stand and what kind of cleaning is appropriate today.

Review of existing work
If you have crowns, fillings, or an old bridge, Dr. Paul checks fit, margins, and bite. If something needs attention, you'll hear about it plainly.

Your cleaning
The cleaning happens in the same visit. No going home and coming back. You walk out with a fresh mouth and a treatment plan you understand.*

We contact your dental plan and confirm benefits before your appointment.

Costs communicated
Estimated co-pay and out-of-pocket are shared with you before you sit in the chair.

Pre-estimate submitted
For treatment beyond the exam, a pre-estimate goes to your insurance before we begin.

We'll start with a conversation, not a lecture. If you need a moment, we'll take a moment. Your comfort is not an inconvenience. It's part of doing the work well. Dr. Paul will explain what she's seeing, why it matters, and what the honest options are.
If time helps, we'll give you time. If breaks help, we'll take breaks. You set the pace.
