Nothing Left Unresolved
Every appointment, every procedure is carried through to completion. Dr. Paul will not end a procedure until the clinical result meets her standard, regardless of how long it takes.
About
A small team. An unhurried pace. Independent by choice, so no fee schedule dictates your treatment plan or how much time you get with your dentist.
Our mission
Dr. Paul's mission is to provide personalized, high-quality care on an as-needed or preventative basis. That translates into a practice built around depth rather than volume: a two-hour first visit that includes a full exam and cleaning, a conservative treatment philosophy that recommends a filling before a crown when the tooth allows, and pre-visit financial preparation so you know what to expect before you sit in the chair.
Every system in the practice, from insurance verification to pre-estimates to the two-hour intake, exists so that nothing is left unresolved and nothing is done halfway. That's the standard. It's the reason patients stay.
Meet Dr. Paul
Dr. Dorothy Paul received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston, Texas. She completed her undergraduate studies at The University of Houston. She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association and Greater Houston Dental Society.
Dr. Paul emigrated from Poland in 1984 while she was attending nursing high school. Shortly after her arrival in Houston she became a certified medical assistant. She worked in an internal medicine and in an otolaryngology (ENT) head and neck surgery office in the Houston Medical Center. She is happily married to her husband, Alex, for over twenty years.
Continuing education
Dr. Paul participates in SPEAR study clubs, an evidence-based continuing-education program that keeps her clinical judgment current on restorative and comprehensive care.
How we work
Every appointment, every procedure is carried through to completion. Dr. Paul will not end a procedure until the clinical result meets her standard, regardless of how long it takes.
Dr. Paul recommends the least invasive treatment that will produce a sound clinical outcome. A filling before a crown, monitoring before intervention, when the tooth allows.
Insurance is verified in advance. Co-pays are communicated ahead of time. Pre-estimates are submitted to your insurance company before treatment is performed.
If you need a moment, we'll take a moment. Anxiety isn't rushed past; it's worked through, with time and breaks when they help.
